Chou Lab at the SOT Annual Meeting

Members of the Chou Lab presented their research at the 2026 Society of Toxicology (SOT) Annual Meeting in San Diego, California.

Lab members received the following recognitions and contributed a platform presentation:

• Awot George Ukbamichael — Biological Modeling Specialty Section (BMSS) Best Trainee Abstract Award and TAO Student Travel Award.
• Xiaowen Wang — BMSS Honorable Mention and Drug Discovery Toxicology Specialty Section (DDTSS) Student Abstract Award, 3rd Place.
• Alexa Canchola — BMSS Honorable Mention.
• Harshitha Nandula — Platform presentation in “Inside Out: Micro- and Nanoplastics Across Tissues and Fluids.”

Wei-Chun Chou contributed to the continuing education course “AM03: Applications of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Approaches to Advance Toxicology and Environmental Health Sciences.”
